Ingredients

This set includes 50 grams of black pepper and 120g of coarse sea salt.

Black pepper, which, when ground, releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peels. They gradually blend into a seaside aroma with unfolding fruity notes. The dominant aroma is that of peach and nectarine, which is accompanied by the scents of pine and the earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Furthermore, the set also includes 120g of coarse sea salt from the very heart of Kampot province. It achieves exceptional properties primarily thanks to the gentle and eco-friendly processing, which has remained unchanged for centuries – the only ingredients the farmers use in producing this salt are clean sea water, sunlight and wind. Thanks to the unique microclimatic conditions of Kampot, this sea salt is enriched with more than 70 minerals and trace elements, which, thanks to its natural character, are easily absorbed into food and also have a beneficial effect on the human body.

High-quality, unrefined sea salt has ahigher nutritional value and enhances the flavor characteristics of the ingredients used in a dish. It is suitable for everyday cooking; for salting, as a garnish on baked goods, when pickling or preserving meat, fish or vegetables, in marinades, on steaks, for less typical salt-crusted baking or, conversely, for the very typical grilling.

This big cardboard box is a ticket into the world of unknown flavors of the very best things you can find with us.

On one side stands pepper, which is not without reason nicknamed the champagne among peppers. With its quality, it is regarded as the best pepper in the world and will perfectly enhance every one of your dishes. On the other side is hand-harvested salt from sea salt pans, whose creation is due solely to the power of the sun.

However, pepper and salt are not complete without grinders. In this set you will find two 17-centimeter-high grinders made of natural solid wood with a perfect grinding mechanism, on which you can easily adjust the coarseness of the grind. This way, you can easily access all the flavors and aromas that are hidden in the peppercorns and salt crystals.

The design of the grinders was created so that it would fit perfectly in your hands and be easy to operate. On the other hand, we chose the colors for the simplest possible recognition of the grinder's contents, namely black for Grinder with pepper and a light natural color for Grinder with salt. However, there are no limits to your imagination, and you can complement this color scheme with other colorful grinders from our range.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the pieces, the sharper the pepper flavor will be. Conversely, larger pieces impart more of the distinctive exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the restless little balls into the chamber directly from the package, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. Also, do not forget your Grinder to clean regularly. Never use water or chemical preparations for this. A cloth will do, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep Grinder away from the sink, and handle its operation carefully when steaming.

Material

Both grinders are made of natural ash wood with a unique grain, which was further enhanced by a special surface treatment.

It guarantees the lasting beauty of the grinder as well as its durability, ensuring it will serve you for ages.

We stored the grinders together with the pepper in a special cardboard box made from recycled materials. The lid of the box can be engraved, thereby imparting a completely unique style to the set. The choice of material is not accidental. Not only does it look great, but the box can also be easily recycled or upcycled.
