Certificates of Authenticity for pepper from .pepper..field
The genuine Kampot pepper must always be accompanied by four mandatory certificates that determine its quality, uniqueness and origin. It must also contain a LOT NUMBER identifying a specific farm or processor. If your pepper does not have all four certificates and a lot number, it is not Kampot pepper.
The Kampot Pepper Brand
This official mark guarantees the origin, quality, and authenticity of Kampot pepper. Only pepper grown in the designated area of Cambodia and using traditional methods may bear this label. It is a guarantee that every piece meets strict standards and has been carefully inspected. Thanks to this, you know what you are buying.
Book of specifications
The official book sets out the precise rules that every Kampot pepper corn must meet – from cultivation and harvest to Package. Within the PGI system, each product can be traced using a unique code. This ensures that the pepper is 100% genuine and transparently tracked.
Protected Geographical Indication
Kampot pepper is the first Cambodian product with this designation and the only pepper in the world with PGI status. This means that it was grown under the best conditions, using traditional methods and was carefully inspected. The same status is held, for example, by Champagne from the Champagne region in France.
