Origin

Kampot The pepper is cultivated in Kampot province located in the very south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its seaside climate and geological conditions, enables local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. Not without reason, this pepper has earned a protected geographical designation, similar to French champagne. From small family farms, we purchase pepper under direct trade conditions that ensure a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders. Thanks to that, by purchasing from us, you not only acquire pepper of the highest quality, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps ensure its producers medical care and education for their children.

Characteristic

It is delicate and tender, once bitten into during your moments of indulgence, it unleashes a perfect harmony of exotic flavors.

It differs markedly from classic dried pepper. Green pepper offers Intense pepper flavor, gradually accompanied by notes of citrus and conifers, mutually intertwined floral notes.

Processing

We pack this delicacy at the highest quality directly in Cambodia.

To the green peppercorns is added a pinch of salt flower obtained by evaporating seawater. Fresh pepper preserves and thus guarantees its absolute freshness. The grains, thanks to this processing, retain the taste of tender green pepper just plucked from the pepper vine.

Thanks to the careful selection of those meeting the strict requirements for the quality of Kampot pepper, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best grains are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-sealed, so that they may be the quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Try to combine its perfect flavor with dark meat, sauces, risotto or breakfast eggs. The tender green seeds are also suitable for pasta, casseroles, and soups. It also pairs very well with mild cheeses, to which it provides a spicier accompaniment. This pepper is not suitable to be crushed in the grinder due to clogging of the milling mechanism. If you still want to disrupt its top skin, use a mortar.
