The set includes our double Grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper.
Grinder combines high-quality materials, practicality, and a well-executed design. Its most notable feature is its construction, which includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can therefore be filled with two types of Kampot pepper – either pepper or salt from Kampot – making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes right at the table.
This grinder is 23 centimeters tall and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each of its ends is equipped with a special fin to ensure the pepper stays fresh and no impurities can get in.
This set also includes two 50g Package portions of Kampot pepper in varieties of your own choosing. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in both taste and aroma – qualities hardly found in pepper purchased in ordinary supermarkets.
Black pepper After grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually evolve into a seaside aroma with developing fruity nuances. The dominant aroma is that of peach and nectarine, complemented by hints of pine and the earthier tones of Cambodian mountain soil rich in minerals.
Rare red pepper It is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. At first, notes of rose and hawthorn fruit dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more distinctive aromas emerge for Kampot pepper, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.
White pepper It is a gentle, yet consistently peppery caress for the taste buds. After grinding, it releases aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by a delicate aroma of nutmeg, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm, all underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.
