Composition

This set includes three 50g packs of Kampot pepper.
Each variety differs in its flavor and aroma, offering a richness you won't find in typical supermarket pepper.

Black pepper releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme when ground, accompanied by a lime zest fragrance. These gradually evolve into a coastal aroma with emerging fruity tones. The dominant scent is that of peach and nectarine, complemented by pine and earthy notes from Cambodia’s mineral-rich mountain soil.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. Initially, rose and rosehip aromas dominate, gradually shifting to dried cherries. After two to three minutes, the typical Kampot pepper character begins to emerge – citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthy crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper offers a gentle yet peppery caress for the taste buds. Once ground, it releases the scents of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, along with subtle hints of mace, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes, you may notice tones of nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm, resting on a base of cedar and black tea.

Characteristics

German precision combined with unique design has given rise to unique grinders.

That will become a decoration of every kitchen and a unique helper of every cook.

The 15 cm high grinders have a minimalist design combining wood and metal. Their shape was designed to fit perfectly in every hand. The set is ideal for anyone who is really serious about Kampot pepper.

This set includes three 50g packs of Kampot pepper, i.e. black, red or white. Individual types differ from each other in their taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in ordinary supermarkets.

black pepperafter grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually flow into a seaside aroma with developing fruity notes. The aroma of peach and nectarine is dominant, accompanied by the scent of pine and the earthy tones of the Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepperis an explosion of fruity notes with a gentler burn. At first, notes of rose and rosehip fruit dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, the more characteristic aromas of Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines and an earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepperit is a gentle but still peppery caress of the taste buds. After it is ground, the aromas of camphor, sage and cedar wood develop, accompanied by the delicate aroma of nutmeg, grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in your mouth, you can feel notes of nutmeg, thyme flower and lemon balm underpinned by aromas of cedar and black tea.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the grind, you influence the pepper’s flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper’s taste will be. Conversely, larger fragments will release more of Kampot pepper’s unique exotic tones into the dish.

When refilling the grinder, never use bare hands, instead pour the loose peppercorns directly into the chamber from the package using a spoon or funnel. Don’t forget to clean your grinder regularly. Never use water or chemical cleaners for this. A cloth, a small brush, and a drop of olive oil will do. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful when using it above steam.

Material

Each grinder is made of quality sandblasted ash wood with a unique color and pattern.

This is complemented by the metal part of the grinder body, thanks to which they will serve you forever.

The whole set is stored in a large wooden box, which can be engraved according to your wishes. We did not choose this packaging by chance. Not only does it look nice, but it is also made in the Czech Republic from sustainable material that can be easily recycled or upcycled.

Grinding mechanism

Inside these grinders there are CeraCut® ceramic machines.

This is a technology developed in Denmark that guarantees that the pepper and salt are always ground to absolute perfection. The coarseness of grinding can be adjusted for each grinder, while the machine can grind peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.
